Serenity sparkles for all!

Over at the Belly Button studio we've been working hard on our brand new collection! Launching on the 1st of November, Serenity (& Rose Quartz) adds sparkles, glitter and a lovely message of well-being to our range of sends.

Our collection of 32 greeting cards retails at £2.99, provides variety, beauty, and much more. Whether for a birthday or just to send vibes of positivity, this offering truly has it all!

Great fun was had in creating the collection, born out of a workshop inspired by trending colours.  What a way for fantastic ideas and unlimited inspiration to emerge!

New store, new friends!

If you didn't already know Belly Button has opened it's third boutique, offering our beautifully designed cards, gifts and homewares along with designer faves!

Located in Chorlton along Beech Road, the new Belly Button Designs boutique has a fantastic range of products, so why don't you come and take a look? Our doors will be open Monday to Friday from 10:30 am - 5:30 pm and on Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

It's been just over a week since we opened our doors and the celebrations have been non-stop. From doggy photographers to Prosecco, we met our new neighbours and the locals from the area, all of whom were fantastic.

With Belly Button studios being a dog friendly creative space, we welcomed pooches of all types and their owners for a special and unique photoshoot. Here's some of our favourites!

Alongside the celebrations we offered a personalised card service, which is also available online.

The store looked incredible, if we do say so ourselves! We look forward to getting to know the community and hopefully creating good friendships with fellow traders and our new valued customers. xoxo

'Bolly' Button takes The Henries 2016!

Firstly, we'd like to start by saying a huge congratulations to everyone who participated in The Henries 2016!

Our evening began at the Lancaster London Hotel, with over 700 other people from all walks of the card trade, all of whom we had a fantastic night with.

This years Henries held a 'Bollywood Ball' theme and its safe to say the entertainment, atmosphere and the host - BBC Asian Network DJ and television presenter, Tommy Sandhu, were fantastic.

Through the course of the evening, we laughed, danced and congratulated one another!

Belly Button Designs have been nominated for 14 years for The Henries, and this is something that Rachel and all the team are extremely proud of. Throughout the years the team at Belly Button Designs have worked exceptionally hard to create the most amazing collections. 

The Henries 2016 brought us the award for Best Christmas Boxed Pack!

We also think congratulations are in order for Wendy Jones Blacket, Janie Wilson, Brainbox Candy and Sara Miller for their fantastic designs!

Lastly, we'd like to say a massive thank you to our loyal customers, manufacturers and the team at Belly Button Designs, as well as a special mention to the fantastic team at Windles - Bruce, Emma, Andrea and Michelle!

What's inspiring you?

Who inspires you? What a difficult question to answer, there are so many amazing artists and designers around that we love and admire!

Our newest member to the Belly Button team has created this moodboard of her favourite artists and designers to help inspire the start of a University project. 

Looking at Xochi Solis, Junko Shimada and Daniela Gregis, our newbie feels most inspired by bold colour palettes and repeat prints - and how beautiful they are!

Amongst all the prints and patterns, we feel Chanel and Vogue definitely steal the show! The studio mood is inspired, we hope this helps to inspire you!
