The Retas!
A huge congratulations to all the RETAS winners! It was a great afternoon of fun and celebrations. Debbie Wigglesworth was there to represent Belly Button Designs with guest Zoe Hiles from Fenwicks, Newcastle. It was also lovely to catch up with the ladies from Paper Salad.

Harrogate oh! lovely Harrogate
We had the most wonderful time last week in Harrogate at the Home and Gift Show 2014, a very successful week full of sunshine, laughter and general summer fun!
It all started with Giles creating an inspiring show stand for us, light, bright and fresh. The perfect setting for our giftware collection. Rachel, Belly Button Design's Creative Director and Giles take a well earned break from the set-up.
Belly Button Design's newest team member baby Tom loved his first ever trade show!
Our show bundle was a hit and looked amazing on the stand. A fresh, contemporary mix of Belly Button giftware goodies.
Belly Button fine bone china was a firm favourite with our customers, perfect for drinking your morning brew in.
A busy stand from start to finish, it was great to catch up with our lovely customers.
Our luxury Platinum and Paloma foiled gift wrap was displayed on a Garden Trading wooden ladder. This sparked everybody's imagination for new store displays. As did the abundance of fresh green plants that dressed the shelves.
The show had a great summer vibe and we enjoyed walking around the grounds, there was a beautiful rose arbour near to the Majestic Hotel which smelt heavenly.
We drank copious amounts of good strong Yorkshire tea to keep us refreshed in the heat too!
A perfect summer show...we didn't want to come home x

A limited edition gem!
To celebrate the twentieth year of her company Caroline Gardner has created a limit edition greeting card collection bursting with gemstone hues, bold bands of colour and geometric patterns.
Each card is individually numbered with only 1000 cards in each of the ten designs. Every design has been die-stamp printed onto pure cotton board.
We particularly love the use of colour in this range, from topaz blue, aquamarine to rose and citrine quartz it gives the feel of an intense gemstone palette. Beautifully tissue lined envelopes finish this collection in tints of olive, emerald or plum.
Here at Belly Button Designs we love the whole collection and love Caroline's idea of framing the cards. We think you'll agree these make instant statement pieces.
