Once upon a time at the Retas...

Once upon a time, in the land of London on Wednesday 8th, an awards ceremony was held at the Dorchester. This was no ordinary awards ceremony, it was the only one to celebrate greeting card retailing in the United Kingdom and went by the name THE RETAS.

Launched by the Progressive Greetings magazine in 2005. The Retas recognises the tremendous contribution that retailers both large and small, make to the success of the greeting card industry, from top independent and multiple greeting card retailers right through to employees of outstanding excellence.

A fabulous time was had by all at the fairytale themed Retas Awards, now in its eleventh year, and our very own Kerry Mellor took to the mic for the stand up sit down game at the beginning of the meal. Belly Button Designs were proud to sponsor this with a Fabulous Fortnum and Mason voucher for the lucky winner.

Our very own fairy “PALOMA” heard the theme of the night as being based on enchanted fairytales and couldn’t resist but get everyone in the studio to don their fairy dust and create magical wands for each of the guests for the menu.
