Running for the "Hills"

He may put this down to mid-life insanity but one of our fabulous agents - Robin Hill, is running the Lakeland 50 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service

The Great North Air Ambulance Service provide emergency medical cover to a vast area of the North of England - appoximately 5500 square miles with a population of 3.5 million. Time and time again there has been a need established for the Air Ambulance who have an aim to provide the best quality care for the people of the region - "our region!"

“A back injury 15 years ago stopped me running so I am mindful that one of us may need the Air Ambulance to finish the run” jokes Robin who is now a born again runner and will be taking part on July 25th -26th with team members Sean Read and Peta Romand.

The Lakeland 50 is no small feat but one of the greatest ultra running challenges in Europe. As the name suggests competitors complete 50 miles of fell running through the Lake District - double the distance of a marathon. These trainers may not look so shiny and new after!

Robin we say you are one fantastic guy who is doing something really magnificent and we admire you for your efforts!!!
